one thing is the DOF is really hard like macro photography , make it like a tiny toy head .

Homer has a totally unique condition called Homer Simpson syndrome. His brain is surround by a thick membrane that insulates it from shock. That's why he could take so many punches when he was a boxer. Also, why he's and idiot. But be assured he definitely has a brain, as we call see thorugh his skull in this fantastic rendering. That is one great concept all around, man, nice job.
